Opeth celebrated its 20th anniversary by performing at this venue, Royal Albert Hall, in London, April 5, 2010.
What a once in a lifetime event. This is such a fitting venue for the progressive metal band when you consider their artistic style; they even played the legendary album, Blackwater Park, in its entirety.
Fortunately, a recording of this performance, Evolution XX will be released on DVD for the Opeth fanatics like me that could never have made it to this show, or one of the other five 20th anniversary shows played in Stockholm, Sweden; Essen, Germany; Paris, France; Los Angeles, USA; and New York, USA.
